Smart TV Samsung

Samsung are set to bring a whole new level of competition to the high end television market with their LED 6300 series Smart TV Samsung. Very highly respected amongst consumers and technophiles alike due the the quality of the products which they produce, and this Samsung LED TV is up there with the best and…incorporates the new Smart TV features. I just had to get out there and have a proper look!

I knew Samsung were going to be showing these Beauties off at CEDIA in London (June 2011) and my Buddy Brad has invited me over, but this couldn’t wait!

The most impressive feature of this product is that it is a Smart TV. This is amazing new technology that’s causing a stir in the industry, and for good reason as all the major brands jump on the Samrt TV bandwagon.

Quite simply it allows users to access the internet using an integrated web browser, which enables web browsing and social media communication. Dedicated apps can also be downloaded from Samsung apps to watch movies, sports, music video, and much more.

These can all be watched in true high definition at 1080p on a fifty-five inch screen. This TV has “Clear Motion Rate 240″  and a stunning five million to one dynamic contrast ratio to produce crystal clear LED images. This really is inceeidble detail! The Clear Motion Rate is Samsung’s new standard for measuring the ability of their televisions to display fast moving images crisply and cleanly. It’s a more accurate measure than the “old” panel refresh rate which it now replaces. Instead, the Clear Motion Rate incorporates the panel refresh rate along with the image processor and the back light technology to give a truer rating of the imaging capability of the TV.

impressive indeed, and is made even better by Samsung’s Wide Colour Enhancer Plus. This produces unbelievably vivid colors, but in a way which is beautifully subtle rather than the garish color some sets produce. The overall viewing experience is further improved by the Ultra Clear Panel technology which is incorporated into this Samsung LED TV. This pretty much gets rid of glare and reflection by absorbing any ambient light in a room. The result will be a more vivid picture, with deeper blacks, pure colors and amazing contrast.

This television includes a further very clever piece of technology which not only enhances the viewing experience, but also conserves energy. Samsung’s Eco Light Sensor constantly measures the light intensity within a room, and will alter the brightness of the picture accordingly. If the room is well lit, therefore, the picture brightness will be slightly reduced and the television will use less power.

This Samsung Smart TV has an impressive range of connectivity, allowing a wide range of devices to be connected to it. It has four HDMI ports, which should be enough for all needs and also has three USB 2.0 ports which can be used to connect devices to view videos and photos, and to play music, using Samsung’s ConnectShare Movie service. Further ports include two for component input, two for composite input, one PC input, one PC audio input, one audio output, and one optical digital audio output. In short all connectivity needs are covered!

Get Smart TV

The Samsung UN55D6300 is a very impressive television with superior picture quality. What really makes this such a very desirable piece of technology, however, is the Smart TV features. The interactive functionality of this TV means that it can be used for a wide variety of entertainment purposes, from watching programmes and movies, to browsing the internet, to playing games and listening to music. As such, it becomes a complete entertainment hub for all the family.

Just one thing to be aware of…you do need the Smart Box to use the keyboard to make the absolute best of the Samrt TV features.

I can only see more development of Smart TV to come from not only samsung but all the TV manufacturers…it’s an exciting time in the world of LED TV!
