Motion Flow on the Sony Bravia XBR gives a superbly crisp and clear picture with little or no 3D Crosstalk
separately – come on Sony, some of the other manuufacturers now include up to 6 pairs of 3D glasses with a new 3D TV). If you want to enjoy every second of entertainment, this is the television for you.
The television is BRAVIA Sync compatible, so you can control and operate a variety of Sony devices that are compatible with convenience. Connect and control Handycam camcorders, Blue-ray disc players, Cyber-shot digital still cameras and more with one remote control. Have

An included USB port provides you with the opportunity to connect digital devices to view crisp photos or listen to music in great quality. A built in ethernet port and WI-FI allows access to social sites such as Facebook and Twitter, or you can choose to stream media from sources such as Netflix, Hulu Plus and Pandora with ease.
So, an impressive feature list, but what “sold” me on the new Sony Bravia XBR range is the quality of pciture. Yes, we have come to expect a feature list as long as your arm and it is absolutely right to have Internet ready TV with integral wi-fi, but when it comes down to the bottom line…it’s the picture that is important.
The Picture Is The Most Important
I do tend to wax lyrical about the brilliance of HD pictures in general and there has been steady improvement since we have been reviewing LED TV sets, but Sony really do deliver with the XBR range. I could add as many superlatives as you can think of, but you simply have to see these amazing sets in action. Get down to your local store and have a look, then come back and buy online for the best prices, and in most cases free delivery!
Yes, you will pay a bit more for a Sony, that’s true, but you get quality, stable technology and a brilliantly stunning picture. Even the fastest action movie of hockey match remains crisp and clear and in 3D the action jumps out at you and is the most stable 3D image I have seen. Crosstalk has pretty much been conquered on the XBR (it is about time). Sony claim it is the MotionFlow technology that has enabled this leap forward…and it is impressive!
The Full Sony XBR Bravia Range
Before looking at the full Sony Bravia XBR range, initially the XBR “branding” was added to the model numbes of newer KDL sets, more recently the XBR has become a “model number” of it’s own. The model numbers that actually begin with XBR are the latest in the XBR range. Let’s take a look at the range.
