The LG LX9500 - A Great 240 Hz 3D LED TV
Since the massive success of 3-D movies like Avatar at the box office, the demand for 3D in the home has grown. But if you’ve watched early 3D sets you’ll know that fast action can blur at the edges of the screen and particularly when the action is “moving towards you”. But technology is moving apace and now…LG have introduced the LG Infinia LX9500 with 480Hz picture speed and this LG LED TV is an outstanding example of the new brand.
This is starting to move 3D technology to the next level and the picture quality is just amazing. I didn’t think HD pictures could get any better, but LG have managed it particularly in the 3D space.
Obviously the other manufacturers will have to follow suit to 480 Hz as well, but at this sort of price? Under $3,300 when a 240Hz 3D from Samsung is still pushing $5k? I’m not sure if the likes of Samsung and Sony can or will compete.

With the latest Infinia design from LG, this 31mm deep television set revolutionizes all notions that direct LED sets have to be fatter than edge LED-lit models. The LX9500 comes equipped with “NetCast” Entertainment Access, which brings the Internet directly to your TV. You get two pairs of active shutter 3D glasses with the LG Infiniatm LX9500 47 Inch 3D TV as well, so you can get straight into the amazing world of 3D sports, video games, documentaries and Blockbuster movies all from the comfort of your own sofa.
A revolution in picture quality is the LG TruMotion 480Hz. Motion blur is almost completely gone giving you a better over-all picture in both 3D and normal 2D – in fact it’s stunning, like looking thru the cleanest pane of glass on the brightest day imaginable.

If you’re thinking of joining the 3D revolution the LG Infiniatm LX9500 47 Inch 3D TV could not be a better starting point, it’s an amazing viewing experience. I’ve seen an awful lot of 3D TV now, and this is, without doubt, the best I have seen and I am still in awe of a price that is so very, very attractive!
My first HD TV was an LG and it was one of the best in the market at the time. However, that early advantage had been eaten away certainly by the likes of Sony and samsung. However, this this new Infiniatm LG are back with a bang of epic proportions. I can highly receommend this as a superb entry point for 3D, especially as you get the glasses included.
